The Drymat non-invasive system uses a unique scientific approach to conquer the problem of damp in buildings once and for all.

The unit can then be wall mounted, plugged in and switched on to begin the drying process. The site is re-surveyed after a year and a report issued to record the reduction of the damp.


The ElektroAqua GPL unit emits electromagnetic waves of specific form, intensity and frequency, causing reversed electro-osmosis, it.means water particles in capillaries start moving towards the ground. As a result, the water is forced to the ground and the walls remain permanently dry. The time required to dry a building depends on a variety of factors: the initial amount of dampness, how salty it is, wall thickness and material type; it ranges between 6 and 36 months. The device is installed permanently while the building can be used as usual, regardless of the season, on the building walls, either in the basement, or on the ground floor, in a place central enough for the range to reach the whole of the building and above the dampness level. After drying is complete. the device should be left on to prevent dampness from returning

Over time, water along with dissolved salts can rise from ground level to a height of several meters. The surface tension of water molecules enables damp to rise through capillary action because of the difference in polarity between the walls (positive) and the damp soil (negative).

When turned on, the GPL unit uses unique patented technology to send weak low-frequency electromagnetic waves into the walls. This changes the polarity of the water ions so that the electro-osmotic movement of the water is downwards towards the lower potential, thus preventing the capillary rise of the water upwards

Long-life maintenance-free operation. The wall-mounted GPL unit is designed to run continuously and automatically for decades, without the need for maintenance. Its laboratory-tested estimated lifetime of trouble-free operation is more than 30 years.

Reduce heating costs. Damp is expensive. With GPL installed, you can save up to 65% on heating bills. A wet wall can contain as much as 450 liters of water per cubic meter. That takes a lot of heating.
